About us

International Scientific Board of Catholic Researchers and Teachers in Ireland (ISBCRTI) aims at helping convergence in the fields of education, science and the arts Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Romance, Slavic and other languages and cultures.

History

International ISBCRTI was established in 2016 in Dublin, Ireland thanks to J.E. Mons. prof. ThDr. František Tondra. He invited nuns from The Union of Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary from Ireland to the Spiš region to work in the field of social work, according to the Church’s social teaching. After meeting with representatives of the University of Cork in Ireland, he founded the International Scientific Council. They chose Dr. Anna Mary McNamaru PBVM for the Chair. She brought Catholic researchers and educators together to publish in theology, social work, and the sacred arts. The views of Western and Eastern experts in these fields were to be intertwined in these publications. In the future, they also aimed to establish a magazine on this topic.

Goals

The purpose of the ISBCRTI is to bring together the western and eastern countries of Europe: supporting the exchange of knowledge and experience of teachers and young researchers in all types of schools from primary to tertiary, through the production and promotion of publications (magazines, internet, translations), symposia, teacher and student mobility, and international granting tasks between Europe and the world.
