The scientific journal INTERNATIONAL REVIEW FOR HUMAN AND
NATURAL SCIENCES has been published quarterly since 2012. The third issue
from 2022 aims, like every issue, to publish interesting articles, insights and
studies from the field of humanities, pedagogy and social sciences by authors
from all over the world.
This 3/2022 issue is focused on the social and humanities field, as the published
articles are from these mentioned fields.
The authors of the first article are ZUZANA BUDAYOVÁ and ĽUBOMÍR
HLAD. In their paper, they identify brief historical references to the emergence
of social work in the health sector. They point to the basic starting points of
the work of social workers in the health sector and discuss the specific activities
and possibilities of the work of social workers in individual departments of the
hospital.
The authors JOZEF KRÁLIK, KRISTÍNA KRÁLIKOVÁ and JANKA
BURSOVÁ deal with the topic of the influence of the environment on social
relations in society, on its social structure. Currently, however, humanity is
undoubtedly fighting for the “survival of the environment” and its preservation
at least in a state that would still allow further development of humanity.
The author of the third article is JANKA KAMANOVÁ, in her article she deals
with the social economy of the Slovak Republic, she represents a new field of
economic activities, which are characterized by the connection of economic and
social goals.
The author BOŽENA ŠVÁBOVÁ deals with the topic of the development of
reading and pre-reading literacy in the pre-primary period of education. It is an
area that has become the subject of interest for educators who are looking for a
way to naturally develop pre-reading literacy in children already at preschool age.
The author of the fifth article is ADAM PANUŚ, it deals with the topic of
charitable and social assistance provided by Polish state institutions for families
in need of financial, social and material assistance. It identifies the main problem
areas related to psychological needs, access to information and material assistance.
The main topic of authors ANDRZEJ GÓRK and MYKHAILO POSTOLIUK
is the role of the Polish police during the Covid 19 pandemic. Safety is a basic
need of every person. Therefore, the main key role of the state, performed for
centuries, is to ensure safety so that it is able to satisfy this basic social need of
citizens.
The journal concludes with a review of the teaching of Russian language and
literature at the catholic university in Ružomberok by SM. ANNE McNAMARA.
