The scientific journal INTERNATIONAL REVIEW FOR HUMAN AND
NATURAL SCIENCES has been published quarterly. The 2nd issue from 2022
aims, as each issue, to publish interesting articles, findings and studies from the
field of humanities, pedagogy and social sciences from authors around the world.
This 2/2022 issue is focused on the social and humanities field, therefore the
published articles are from these mentioned areas.
The author of the first article is IRENA KAMANOVÁ The paper examines
the obligations of local governments in the provision of social services arising
from the law and the transfer of certain competencies from state administration
bodies to municipalities and higher territorial units.
The second authors are JANKA BURSOVÁ, EVA DOLINSKÁ and ERIKA
REVAJOVÁ, they deal with the topic of the crisis situation. In this paper, they
present practical experiences with crisis intervention in social services.
The author of the third article is MÁRIA GAŽIOVÁ. In her article, she deals
with the use of knowledge of neuropsychology in pedagogical and clinical
practice. It presents clinical neuropsychology and its focus. It provides an
overview of the basics of measuring brain activity using EEG and introduces a
constantly evolving neuromodulation technique called neurofeedback.
The author SVETLANA HUBKOVÁ deals with the topic of analysis of security
aspects on the Internet from the point of view of its use by child subscribers.
The author of the fifth article is LUCIA LUDVIGH CINTULOVÁ on the topic
of research leading to alcohol dependence.
The main topic of the authors LUCIA LUDVIGH CINTULOVÁ, ZUZANA
BUDAYOVÁ is research into the risk of burnout syndrome in social care workers
in Slovakia.
The author of the next article, ANDRZEJ GÓRKA, points out the role of the
Polish police during the Covid 19 pandemic, on the possibilities and ways of
solution, which are on an individual principle but also the possibilities offered by
the company as such.
The author ADAM PANUŚ presents charity and social assistance for families
by the Polish state raising from the constitution in need of financial, social, and
material assistance. Identifies the main problem areas related to psychological
needs, access to information, and material assistance.
Another author is MICHAL LAVRÍK, the article deals with the definition of
the terms ageing and old age with reference to the position of seniors in society. It
describes the degree of adaptation of seniors to changing living conditions with
emphasis on the specification of determinants of the quality of life of seniors in
terms of social work.
